Through our Outreach Ministry, we see to "Our Church's Wider Mission" through supporting the work of our larger UCC family at home and around the world.

We support One Great Hour of Sharing, which provides assistance--both short and long term--for disaster relief. OGHS provides both supplies, materials, and cash to help people rebuild after storms and other disasters. Through the Florida UCC Conference, we maintain a Disaster Relief minstry--and the tools and quick response to make it effective and timely.

We support the other UCC annual offerings which provide funds for "Strengthening the Church" through our mutual work locally, for "Neighbors in Need," helping at home and abroad to improve living conditions for many people, and for retired ministers and missionaries who have spent their lives helping churches see and respond in caring ways.

We directly support our sister church in Los Guido, Costa Rica, through gifts, in-person assistance, and in many ways. We support their local cooperative which produces goods for sale at fair prices, to provide a better means of income for women, children, and single-parent families. Presently we are cooperating in a project to help the poorest members of their congregation build real homes.

We care for each other and for others in our community with emergency assistance through our Pastors' Discretionary Fund and we provide that often-needed assistance of a listening ear, a hug, and the gift of presence in times of crisis.
